For members
How do I join my church?
- Open the join link or scan the QR code your church gave you.
- Create an account with your name, email and a password.
- Wait for a church administrator to approve you. You will get an email.
- Sign in, read the waiver, and sign it by typing your name. Then you are in.
If an administrator invited you by email, use the link in that email instead. Invited people skip the approval step.
How do I ask for help?
- Open Request a Job.
- Choose the type of help, give your request a short title, and describe what you need.
- Say when it works for you, such as “weekday evenings”.
- Add a phone number, or choose to share your email, so your helper can reach you. This is saved in My Details.
- Tap Send Request.
A church approver reviews it first. You will get an email when it is approved and again when someone takes it. Follow it any time on My Requests.
How do I cancel a request?
- Open My Requests.
- Find the request and tap Cancel Request, then confirm.
Who can see my phone number and address?
Only church leaders, and the one provider who accepts your job. Other members cannot see them.
How do I say thank you to a provider?
- Open My Requests and find the completed request under Past requests.
- Tap Say Thank You, add a short note if you like, and tap Send Thanks.
Your provider gets a notification with your note. Nobody else sees it, and there are no ratings or scores.
A provider did not show up or did not take the job seriously. What can I do?
- Open My Requests and find the job. You can report a concern once a provider has taken it.
- Tap Report a Concern, choose what happened, and tell us a little more.
- Tap Send Concern.
This is private. Only your church’s approvers and administrators read it, and the provider is not told. It is not a rating. It lets your leaders follow up kindly, and find you someone else if you still need help.
I forgot my password.
- On the sign-in page, tap Forgot Your Password?.
- Enter your email. We send you a link to choose a new password.
For providers
How do I become a provider?
- Open My Details and tap Become a Provider. A church administrator can also invite you.
- Read the provider oath and sign it.
- Wait for an administrator to confirm you, if they have not already.
- Open Provide Help and, under What I offer, add the kinds of help you are glad to give, with about how many hours a week.
How do I take on a job?
- Open Provide Help. Jobs that match what you offer, or that an approver assigned to you, are listed under Approved jobs waiting for you.
- Read the details. The requester’s contact information is shown so you can reach them.
- Pick a date and time, add a note if you like, and tap Accept and Schedule.
- Not a good fit? Tap Not for Me (or Decline, Send Back if it was assigned to you).
How do I mark a job completed?
- Open Provide Help and find the job under My scheduled jobs.
- After the job is done, tap Mark Completed.
If the date passes, we send you a gentle reminder. Your church’s leaders can also see what is still open.
What if I can no longer do a job?
- Open Provide Help and find the job under My scheduled jobs.
- Add a reason if you like and tap I Can’t Do This Anymore.
The job goes back to your approvers, who find someone else. The requester is told it is being reassigned.
A requester was not honest about the job or the situation was unsafe. What can I do?
- Open Provide Help and find the job under My scheduled jobs.
- Tap Report a Concern, choose what happened, add a few sentences, and tap Send Concern.
Your church’s approvers and administrators read it privately. The requester is not told. If you are in danger, leave and call emergency services first.
Someone said thank you. Where do I see it?
You get a notification, and you can find it later under Notification History on My Requests. Thank-you notes are private between you and the person you helped.
For approvers
How do I approve or deny a request?
- Open Approvals. New requests are listed at the top.
- Under Who Should Do This?, pick one provider, or choose Open to all matching providers.
- Add a message to the requester if you like and tap Approve and Send. Or tap Deny with Message, which needs a message saying why.
How do I see whether jobs are getting done?
Open All Requests. The numbers at the top show what was requested and completed in the last 30 days, and what is stuck. Use the tabs for Unassigned, Assigned, Completed, and Denied or Canceled.
A provider is not responding. What can I do?
- Open All Requests and choose the Assigned tab.
- Find the job and tap Take Back and Reassign.
The provider is told, the requester is told it is being reassigned, and you can pick someone else.
Someone sent a concern. What do I do?
- Open Approvals and scroll to Concerns. You also get a notification.
- Read it, then speak with the person involved, kindly and in person where you can.
- Write what you did in What You Did and tap Mark Resolved. Resolved concerns stay under Resolved concerns.
Concerns are private to approvers and administrators. You will not see one about yourself. Administrators can also see a person’s concerns on file under Members, Manage. If someone keeps having the same problem, you can remove their provider role there.
For church administrators
How do I get my people to join?
- Open More, then Church Settings.
- Copy the join link, or download the QR code, and put it in your bulletin, on a sign, or on a slide.
- When people join, approve them under Members.
You can also invite someone directly by email under Members. They skip the approval step.
How do I make someone an approver, an admin or a provider?
- Open Members and find the person.
- Tap Manage, then choose the role you want to give or remove.
How do I change the kinds of help people can ask for?
Open More, then Church Settings. Under Help categories you can rename a category, turn one off or on, or add your own.
Can I change the waiver and oath?
Yes. Open More, then Church Settings, then Review the Waiver and Oath Wording. Start from our standard wording or write your own. Please have your pastor, board or an attorney review it.
How do I share what our church accomplished this month?
- Open More, then Monthly Summary.
- Pick the month. You will see how many jobs were completed, how many members served, and how it breaks down by type of help.
- Tap Download for Slides or Download for Newsletter, then add the picture to your Sunday slides, bulletin or newsletter.
The picture shows totals only. It never includes names or details. The number of people helped is left out until at least 3 different members have been helped in a month, so no one can be picked out in a small church.
Who can join?
Adults only. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older when they create an account and when they join, and your leaders approve each person who requests to join. Help for a family member, such as a teenager, can be requested through a parent’s account for now.
How do I update billing?
Open More, then Billing. You can see your plan and tap Manage Billing to update a card, change plans, download invoices, or cancel.
